Testimonies
Below are testimonies from various members of the Church that wanted to share with the world their faith and love for our loving God.
I was led to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by the Merciful Father in Heaven. I was not involved in the original movement to form the church. I was however able to vote as a member. I was there when many of the Restoration Revelations were presented. I served as a Priest under Marcus Juby. I had the good pleasure of attending the first School of the Prophets. I am now aware just how genuine the leadership of the President/Prophet was. Looking back I was warmed by the love he expressed towards me. He had a gentle way of trying to teach. He was not a foolish man. He was a scientist, a researcher, and a teacher by profession. He did not insist on being addressed as Doctor as many with a Phd do. I never once saw him present himself as anything but a servant of the Lord.
Before Marcus retired he had accomplished much. Marcus attended Oklahoma State University and graduated with a B.S., M.S.Ed. in Agricultural Education and Ph.D. in Vocational and Technical Education. He taught Vocational Agriculture at Kansas, OK, Oilton, OK, and Collinsville, OK for a total of eight years. He was employed as a Research Assistant in fruit production with the University of Arkansas. Marcus served as an assistant professor in Agriculture Education at Texas Tech University and Oklahoma State University. He left Oklahoma State and entered the private industry of agriculture as a Research Scientist for Ciba-Geigy Corporation in product development. He served in the capacity of product development for fifteen years before accepting a promotion to serve as technical advisor to the Sales Department in Turf and Ornamentals.
He remained faithful to his belief that the Book of Mormon was scriptural and the word of God. He blessed the church by being the servant through whom the majority of Restoration Revelation was presented to the church.
I recommend you continue to study the Book of Mormon, the Inspired Version of the Holy Scriptures, the Doctrine and Covenants. As in the Doctrine of Covenants it is easier to overlook the direction to individuals and read the content of instruction to the church as a body. I am sure once you have this key and your dive into the Restoration Revelations you will find amazing detail, warm loving encouragement, enlightenment, and even a good scolding as a loving Father and his Only Begotten Son only can deliver.
The church is built on the corner stone the world threw away. Come visit, feel the Holy Spirit and worship with others who seek the living stream, the path to perfection, and the Kingdom.

In my eight- grade class starting the new school year, my dad met me after school to go home. I was very upset and never able to hide things from him. We drove for a while then he asked, what’s going on. So upset was I that I just blurted out how I hated the boy sitting next to me. He picks on me and pokes me and as soon as I do or say anything the teacher singles me out as the trouble maker. I just can’t stand it. We continued home and I went up to my room still mad as I could be.
Soon the knock at the door and dad was there. Hey buddy, why don’t we ask Jesus to help us and see what happens? At that point I just wanted to be alone but knowing dad, this was not going to happen. We knelt by the bed together and he prayed first for patience and comfort to come to me and also Gods guidance for both myself and the boy I hated. Then it was my turn. Well, I don’t remember much about what I asked the Lord, I Know it was short but it worked. Dad left the room.
The next morning, ready for school, dad called me into the living room and had something to read to us. Opening the Book of Mormon, we turned to the 3 rd Book of Nephi, 5:90 “But behold, I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you; And pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you.” Boy dad that’s hard. He said, I know but it’s the right way to turn it over to the Lord and let Him take care of it.
Each day before going to school we would kneel and pray in our prayer place and sure enough, things got better. The boy and I became good friends and helped each other out when needed. This was truly an answer to prayer and a lesson for life. Prayer Works!!!
